Two major events in June
The Psychedelic Society is honoured to host a conversation between three of the UK's leading thinkers on psychedelics and spirituality: Rupert Sheldrake, Robin Carhart-Harris and Stephen Reid at the beautiful EartH, Hackney, in our biggest public event to date. Expect a free-flowing, generative, multidisciplinary dialogue. More information and tickets
The Ayahuasca Symposium is a holistic event, integrating academic and spiritual wisdom, to provide the audience with a thorough introduction to the sacred Amazonian plant medicine ayahuasca. The full-day program incorporates 9 speakers, a sacred ayahuasca ceremonial music concert with 6 acoustic musicians plus a DJ Set, a Palo Santo & Mapacho smudging ceremony, a Cacao ceremony, 2 vegan meals, and plenty of time for community connection. The Symposium will be the largest ever event dedicated to ayahuasca to have happened in London, and will be held at the beautiful Old Hackney Baths. More information and tickets
The OddBall, Saturday 8th June, Oxford
This visionary summer celebration includes an incredible line-up including the iconic Sun Ra Arkestra visiting from the USA. Look forward also to turntable maestro JFB, Senegalese master musician Jali Fily Cissokh, theatre, circus, poetry, ritual magick, discussion panels, healing, and live art and delicious food and drink. The Psychedelic Society will be represented there with a stall and a talk. If you would like to join us, use the promo code psychedelicsociety2019 to pay no booking fee.
Anthropos Festival, 13th-17th June, Hertfordshire
The Psychedelic Society is pleased to be an official partner of this year's Anthropos Festival. Anthropos features stunning visual art, diverse electronic beats, live acts, workshops, lectures, discussions, a healing area, live painting, artistic involvement, spa & sauna spaces and vegan food. Noisily Festival, 11th-15th July, Leicestershire
The Psychedelic Society is once again co-curating the Mind, Body and Soul area at this year's Noisily Festival. There's a fantastic lineup including many familiar faces and we will also have our own geodome for improvised and after-hours fun! The Psychedelic Society benefits from every purchase made via this link.
Women’s Beltane Retreat
Beltane marks the midpoint between spring and summer, a time of re-awakening our inner fire and rejoicing in the fertility of the season. Seizing this peak moment of the year to celebrate life, ignite our creativity and bask in the bliss that comes with gathering amongst women, we invite you (or a woman in your life) to join us in re-charging, renewing and rewilding our souls in this psilocybin-assisted retreat from 1-5 May 2019. Read more about the retreat or read about other Experience Retreats
Many Psychedelic Society members have taken part in the Extinction Rebellion in London over the past days. Founder and co-director Stephen Reid wrote an Invitation to Rebellion along with a link to a Telegram group for anyone who wants to get involved.
Members' Social, this Friday
For our next Members' Social, we invite you to a night of creative play with food. This is a members' event where members are encouraged to bring along a friend/loved one that is interested in psychedelics. If you're already member, go ahead and book your place; if you're not, you can become a member to help us cover the £6k/month running costs of our new space and receive:
- A 10% discount on tickets to our events
- Access to the members' Facebook group
- Invitations to our members-only events
