Our guest speaker at our first social of 2019 is Nadav Modlin. Nadav is a psychological therapist in private practice, a member of the King's College psychedelic research team and an expert in the integration of psychedelic experiences.
Tickets (£15) are available for purchase by Members via https://psychedelicsociety.org.uk/events/members-social-fri-4th-jan-2019-442

Join us at London's beautiful Conway Hall for a conversation between Dr. Gail Bradbrook, co-founder of Extinction Rebellion, and Stephen Reid, founder and co-director of The Psychedelic Society.
At this event, Gail and Stephen will present on their personal journeys involving psychedelics and social change before entering into a dialogue on questions including:
- What's the root cause of our current ecological crisis?
- Can psychedelics help us to come into right relationship with nature?
- What's the role of psychedelics in social change movements?
The Psychedelic Society's Psychedelic Experience Retreats allow you to explore the transformative potential of psychedelics in a safe and legal environment. The psychedelic used at the retreats is the psilocybin-containing truffle. The retreats take place monthly in the Netherlands, where psilocybin truffles are legal, in groups of 10-15.
Some participants have little or no prior experience with psychedelics, whilst others may be relatively experienced yet are attracted by the group setting, and/or the idea of taking psychedelics in an intentional way at a potentially higher dose than before.
To go with previous coverage by the BBC, the retreats recently featured in Forbes (article shared over 11k times) and were also the subject of a documentary by Real Stories (2m subscribers), which you can watch here:
Psychedelics for Mental Health
We've created a nifty system for turning the touching comments people are leaving on our Psychedelics for Mental Health petition into images for sharing via social media. Keep an eye on our Facebook page for some of our favourites, and if you haven't already, please consider signing and sharing the petition.
