Death Café @ Psychedelic Society
Sunday 3rd March, 6pm to 8pm
Come and discuss death in a relaxed and friendly space over a tea and some cake. Talking about death is not always easy or straightforward. Death Cafés are intended to break down some of the taboos around death and dying, where people can share their experiences honestly and listen with curiosity in a safe and non-judgemental space.
We meet simply as people united in the fact that we are all, one day, going to die. There is no agenda, and there are no objectives or themes to the discussion. We talk in small groups and share only what we feel to share. All are welcome, regardless of age, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religious beliefs and otherwise.
Death Cafes are always offered on a not for profit basis, in an accessible, respectful and confidential space and with no intention of leading people to any conclusion, product or course of action.
Booking is essential, reserve your place by getting a ticket (free of charge) through the Psychedelic Society website. Once you receive an email confirmation, you are booked in. The Psychedelic Society have generously provided their space free of charge, and tea and cake will be provided without cost. A donation would be most welcome on the evening.
