Ritual for the Earth
We embark upon the first week of the International Rebellion, and everywhere people gather on the streets and on bridges to raise their voices, to disrupt the system, to stand up for the planet.
This month I invite you to gather in circle to share your feelings on the climate crisis, to grieve, and to co-create a ritual sending out our prayers for the earth through song.
As part of this session I will offer many simple call and response songs that honour and celebrate the earth, and our place in it. During the rebellion I will be on the streets with fellow sisters singing these songs, and you will be invited to join us. There is something undeniably powerful about group singing, and in particular women coming together in song. Bringing song into protests is an incredible way to bring community, lightness, and solidarity into the movement. It breathes life into it, and creates a field of love and protection for protesters.
Women's voices have been suppressed for thousands of years, and so too has the voice of the Earth. Through our singing we rise up, we sing our prayers for the planet, and we sing for those who cannot, for those women still living in places of oppression. We sing for life.
This circle will include:
- Guided Meditations
- Sharing Circle
- Connection Games
- Opening our voices and song sharing
- Ritual for the Earth
“Gaia always holds a safe and loving space to explore the depths of our souls. It's one of the only places I have in my life to truly be myself - no expectations, limitations or judgement.”
About Psychedelic Women's Circle
Psychedelic Women's Circle has been an active and growing community for the past 2 and a half year. It is a space for femme flavoured or identifying people interested in personal and collective transformation. A community of like minded souls coming together to support and celebrate existence.
Psychedelics can help us to open our minds, heal and grow through the re-patterning of our behaviours. The aim of the Women's Circle is to create a space with similar opportunities for opening, healing and growth, without the use of psychedelic substances.
We do this through embodied practices such as meditation, voice work , dance and movement, emotional release, play, tantric techniques and ritual which can transport us into altered states of consciousness where transformation can occur.
IT IS TIME TO STEP INTO A NEW STORY OF WOMANHOOD, ONE WHICH ALLOWS OUR MOST VIBRANT, EMPOWERED SELVES TO EMERGE.
About the Facilitator:
Gaia Harvey Jackson is a facilitator and artist creating spaces for deep transformation and empowerment.Gaia offers workshops rituals and one-to-one sessions around the world, helping people to break free of the box, move through challenges, and find meaningful connection.
Liberation and celebration are central to her work, and she is constantly discovering new ways to bring together the sacred and the silly, for people to allow their full wild selves to be expressed, no matter how strange or vulnerable.
Her work combines elements of theatre games, voice work, meditation, dance and ritual, creating safe and playful environments where people can authentically connect and release.
