Negative thoughts are sneaky and insidious; they take hold when you’re not paying attention. However it is possible - through learning meditation and other psychological techniques - to 'train your brain' into more positive and more productive thinking patterns.
With so many demands on our time and minds, carving out the time to sit with our thoughts and experience who we are without distraction can be challenging, but it is vital to dis-identify from the constantly thinking mind in order to tap into the wisdom of body consciousness.
In this session, Dani will share meditation and mindfullness techniques she has learnt while training with Tough Cookie (a mental resilience charity) as well as her profound knowledge of embodied living.
Please arrive between 7:00 and 7:15pm. Late comers will not be admitted. This is to ensure the integrity of the circle and the safe space we create
About Psychedelic Women's Circle
Psychedelic Women's Circle was founded in 2017 by Gaia Harvey Jackson, facilitator, artist and ceremonialist. It is a space for femme flavoured or identifying people interested in personal and collective transformation. A community of like minded souls coming together to support and celebrate existence.
Psychedelics can help us to open our minds, heal and grow through the re-patterning of our behaviours. The aim of the Women's Circle is to create a space with similar opportunities for opening, healing and growth, without the use of psychedelic substances.
We do this through embodied practices such as meditation, voice work , dance and movement, emotional release, play, tantric techniques and ritual which can transport us into altered states of consciousness where transformation can occur.
IT IS TIME TO STEP INTO A NEW STORY OF WOMANHOOD, ONE WHICH ALLOWS OUR MOST VIBRANT, EMPOWERED SELVES TO EMERGE.
