Psychedelic Women's Circle: Crisis, Catalyst, Chrysalis
In response to these troubling times, this circle will focus on how crises can be catalysts for deep transformation. While honouring the loss taking place in the collective and for all of us individually, we will also enquire into the ways in which the radical changes afoot may be inviting us to step up and step into new ways of being.
Whatever alters the patterns of our lives also opens us up new ways of seeing and understanding our place in the world. You may have experienced this with an accident or illness that did not allow business as usual to continue and, despite being challenging, made space for new possibilities to emerge.
The truth is that the impossible demands created by crises often ignite resources hidden deep within us and help us to connect with what’s really important in our lives. Somehow it takes ‘the right kind of trouble’ to stir the soul and awaken our deeper selves.
Within the grief and confusion of this moment is an invitation to listen in to what may be emerging out of the debris of our old patterns. There are always new beginnings hidden among endings and it is our job to find the threads of those new paths and begin weaving our worlds once again.
This circle is an opportunity to consider the new life that is gestating in the darkness of this moment. For, as Valerie Kaur so beautifully questions, ‘what if this darkness is not the darkness of the tomb, but the darkness of the womb?’
Join us to listen deeply, share fully and tune into the psychological and mythical narratives underlying this extraordinary moment of individual and collective transformation.
