Bruce Parry

Bruce Parry is a filmmaker, explorer, and activist best known for his BBC documentary series Tribe, Amazon, and Arctic, where he lived alongside indigenous communities to learn from their ways of life. A former Royal Marines officer turned advocate for social and ecological renewal, Bruce’s work explores what modern society can learn from more egalitarian and nature-connected cultures.

His feature film Tawai: A Voice from the Forest delves into the wisdom of hunter-gatherer societies and humanity’s deep relationship with the natural world. Through his storytelling, Bruce invites reflection on belonging, interconnection, and the possibility of more harmonious ways of living together on Earth.
