Martha Allitt
Event Coordinator
Martha is a freelance writer and journalist specialising in psychedelic science and culture. She has a background in Neuroscience and frequently writes about alternative healing modalities, bridging modern research with spiritual and traditional practice. Martha is also a co-director of the UK Psychedelic Society and runs several events centred on building community and sparking discussion about alternative ways of being. She also volunteers with the psychedelics welfare organisation PsyCare.
Martha is currently making a documentary about Datura, a hallucinogenic family of deadly nightshade plants. The film seeks to explore its use among indigenous communities and its association with magic and dreaming.
Outside her psychedelic work, Martha enjoys yoga, writing music and doodling.
