Drawing wisdom from indigenous traditions, we find a parallel emphasis on careful preparation, a ceremonial ambiance, experienced guides, and sacred songs tailored for the occasion. These elements are instrumental in creating a conducive environment for profound experiences. That’s why we emphasise the significance of preparing for your journey, equipping you with the necessary tools and support in the comfort of your home.
Once prepared, we come together in a serene natural setting, where our ceremonial space is meticulously arranged with utmost care. The ambiance is curated to provide a secure and inviting atmosphere, complemented by the presence of experienced guides who are present throughout the ceremony. Especially curated live music accompanies your journey, as you are gently guided deeper into your own introspective exploration.

We welcome people who are curious to get to know themselves on a deeper level, with the support of psychedelic substances and altered states of consciousness in the context of self-development and personal growth. Our journeys are open to people in a balanced state of mental and physical health, who are ready to commit to a deep and honest exploration of the self.
Our journeys are not a substitution for therapy. If you are currently in therapy, we invite you to seek the advice of your therapist before embarking on any psychedelic journeys. For your safety, we are unable to offer spaces to participants who are subject to any of the contraindications listed in our Q&A section and application form.

OUR 3 PART APPROACH
PREPARATION
Mental and physical preparation greatly enhance the transformative potential of the ceremony. To help you get ready, we provide:
A preparation guide that covers how to prepare both your mind and body, what to expect during the ceremony, and how to create a personal intention.
An online workshop one week before the retreat, which will provide you with all the knowledge and practical skills you need to confidently embark on your psychedelic journey.
2. CEREMONY & RETREAT
Our ceremony takes place during a 3-day immersive retreat at a beautiful retreat center surrounded by nature. The experience also includes: An opening ritual and cacao ceremony, breathwork session for somatic release, bodywork & de-armouring, supportive morning practices, exercises to connect you with your intention, lots of opportunity for togetherness & connection, opportunity to clarify any questions you might still have, joint kick-off of integration journey.
3. INTEGRATION
Integrating a psychedelic experience is the most crucial part of the transformative process. That’s why we provide:
Support to help you explore and reflect on the insights and challenges you may have encountered
Help in processing insights and clarifying their meaning through one of our psychedelic integration coaches during a group workshop after the retreat
Option for 1-1 integration support with one of our integration guides

Your stay
The Avani Retreat Center in Holland is a beautiful, serene, and inspiring location for our immersive 3-day retreat. Nestled in the heart of nature, this retreat center is surrounded by lush greenery, majestic trees, and calming waters. As you arrive, you’ll immediately feel a sense of peace and tranquility wash over you, as if the stress of the outside world has melted away.
The retreat center itself is a beautiful and spacious facility that blends modern amenities with natural surroundings. The cozy and comfortable accommodation offers a range of options, from private rooms (limited, at extra cost) to shared dormitories and yurts, all designed to provide a nurturing and restful environment for your stay. The communal spaces are designed to inspire connection and conversation, with plenty of comfortable seating areas and beautiful natural light. There are two private rooms with ensuite bathroom, which can be booked separately at an additional charge of €250 excl. tax.
A natural pond is located on Avani’s land, allowing for refreshing dip and an invigorating way to cool off on a warm day. The beautiful national park “De Loonse en Drunense Duinen” is also in walking distance to the property.
YOUR FACILITATORS
You will be supported by experienced facilitators, specialists and experts who will be guiding the ceremony with live music and will be available for you before, during and after the retreat. We bring together knowledge from disciplines such as breathwork, somatic release, self-enquiry and psychedelic informed coaching. Together we create a safe space for your inner journey.
